Despite my lovely Irish name, I am 100% an original Italian brain. Born and raised in the South of Italy. As a proper Italian son, I have been developed by Bella di Figlio (and of course ... I'm her Bello di Mamma).

Why did my parents name me Patrick? Because I was born under dangerous circumstances on the night between March 16th and 17th. Since everything went fine, they thought that I deserved the name of Ireland's protector.

BTW, I am 39-forever-years-old. But not because I’m afraid of getting less young.

I speak Italian and English fluently.

Search is as endless as my Curiosity.

I started crawling the WWW at the end of Web 1.0, around the beginning of the so-called dot-com bubble, when people like me used to be called Webmasters.

A webmaster is someone who can create and maintain a website by dealing with everything from content and optimisation to servers, hosting, DNS, CDNs, performance, and all the other cool tech stuff that comes with it.

I truly believe that you cannot build good websites without understanding how search works, and you cannot work seriously on SEO (meant as Search Experience Optimisation) without understanding how to build high-performing websites.

Especially now, with AI and the emerging Agentic Web. Websites need to be discoverable, accessible, understandable and usable by both People and machines.
